As a professional with a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, I discovered my passion for learning and development during my graduate studies, where I focused on creating impactful training and development solutions. My experience has honed my knowledge and skills in this area through several learning and development projects and tools, including Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Audacity, Canvas, Canva, Monday.com, Rise 360, Snagit & Workday, allowing me to create comprehensive, interactive, and multimedia-rich learning experiences. Through my instructional design certification, I gained a deep understanding of instructional theories and models, which, combined with my I-O background, gives me a unique perspective on crafting evidence-based, engaging training solutions. This combination of skills enables me to design tailored, data-driven learning experiences that enhance both individual and organizational performance.

2022 - 2025

01

DLP

This program was constructed as a final project for my 'Human Resources Training' course during my Industrial-Organizational Psychology master’s program. For this project, we were tasked with creating an asynchronous training based on an existing or formulated organizational need. The project consisted of conducting a needs assessment, designing learning objectives, integrating multimedia into PowerPoint slides, and applying instructional theories to construct and evaluate the effectiveness of the training. The final course was then uploaded into Canvas, where we, as instructors and creators, explained our process and organized materials accordingly.

02

DRUPAL

This is a web development software that the University uses to design their program pages and was an integral tool in the responsibilities of the IT department. I had no prior experience with this software, but with the help of IT SMEs and through my training design and program management expertise, we were able to rebuild this training into an asynchronous Canvas course that the University still uses today. The program contained 16 total lessons, complete with videos, supporting documents, quizzes after each lesson and a final survey to gauge how users felt about the new training for continuous improvement.

03

CHESS PROGRAM

"Chess 101" is an interactive training program designed in Articulate Storyline 360 to provide a comprehensive introduction to the game of chess. This course covers the fundamental rules and objectives, a brief history of chess, and an in-depth look at each piece’s unique movements and functions. Learners will engage with interactive activities that provide hands-on practice in using pieces correctly and making strategic decisions. Additionally, quizzes and challenging scenarios will reinforce key concepts and problem-solving skills. By the end of this training, users will be fully equipped to play chess with confidence and a strong foundational understanding of the game.
